Remembering Hope…

We take time this weekend to remember our namesake, Hope Fuller.

Eight years ago, on March 10, Hope passed away after a brave fight with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). It is a rare form of childhood brain cancer that has no treatment and is 100% fatal. Hope fought with everything she had for 224 days before she didn’t have the strength to fight anymore. We pray for comfort for her family and friends this weekend as they also remember Hope and the ray of light she brought to everyone she met.

We also pray that we can honor her and others who have also fought bravely by giving others the opportunity and tools to fight their diseases. We do this by providing free airlift to medical treatment for those who so desperately need help they cannot receive locally.
