Eagle’s Wings of Hope Golf Outing
It was another great week!
On Friday, GE Aviation Engineering and Veteran’s Network hosted an employee only golf outing to benefit Eagle’s Wings of Hope. It was a beautiful day of golfing at Saskatoon Golf Club. If you have never golfed there, I definitely recommend it. The courses are great and the staff was incredible. The generous members of the GE Aviation team raised $4500 to help advance our mission. Thank you friends!
On Saturday, we headed on down to West Michigan Regional Airport in Holland, MI to support our friends at Wings of Mercy, Inc. Wings of Mercy is an organization that matches volunteer pilots and aircraft with those in need of transport to specialized medical care. Our goal is to raise money to purchase an aircraft that we can operate to support their mission. Saturday was their annual Holland CareAffaire and Runway 5K. The pancake breakfast was great, the crowd energized, and there were airplanes everywhere! Even an auto show. It doesn’t get much better than that! We also had a chance to say “Hi” to our friend Don Morrow who donated his time and airplane to give free Young Eagles flights to the kids.
God bless and have a great week!
