501(C)(3) Status – achieved!
We have crossed another huge milestone today!
We are now recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable organization and can begin to receive tax deductible donations. This helps us reach our mission goals and allows the donor to receive a tax deduction for contributions.
We are now moving on to the fun part in the journey! We turn our focus from administrative paperwork to acquiring an executive class airplane to fly our clients to the medical treatment they so desperately require. You can all help us make that a reality!
A big part of building support for an organization like ours is to spread the word about us and our mission. Our next big goal is to acquire an airplane that can carry at least 6 people (including 2 crew) for 600 – 800 miles. We will only be able to do that by raising enough money to purchase/lease the aircraft ourselves or receiving a generous donation of an aircraft. You can be a part of our team and start to help us reach that goal by doing two things:
- Like our Facebook page! This way you can keep up to date with our progress, activities, and fundraising events.
- Share our Facebook page and/or one of our posts that left an impression on you. The multiplying power of sharing is huge. You would be surprised how many people we can share our dream with that way.
